Traditionally active sneakers have very little underfoot structure, flat insoles or aren't designed to specifically fit the shape and contours of a female foot correctly and comfortably. A LOT of sneakers on the market are actually made for men (yes, including those labelled "unisex")! Here are some key features of our new Steps active sneaker range:

SIZE & FIT:

• True to size
• Due to the mesh upper design, these shoes will "give" with wear so it's recommended they feel firm over the foot at first wear
• Roomy toe box to help promote natural toe splay
• Stitched-in tongue gusset so not recommended if you have a high arch, high instep or wide forefoot
• Choose your everyday shoe size
• If you are usually a half size, go up a size (eg. 7.5 choose 8)
• If you are in between sizes, choose the larger size
• If you have a slightly wider foot, an alternative footbed is available for purchase to gain additional internal space

BEST SUITED FOR:

• Narrow to average foot profile
• Suitable for wide toes and/or bunions
• Not recommended if you are wide over the forefoot area or have a high arch due to the stitched-in gusset
• Not suitable for really wide feet
