We want you to love your she wear purchase! If you are not completely satisfied, we offer 30 day returns on full priced, unworn items purchased from our website (except socks, briefs and crop bra) within Australia. For international customers, we offer 45 day returns.

If you have received shoes and are unsure of the fit, please check the tips listed on the At Home Fitting page and our Expert Fit Tip page.  Often, just a very small tweak will resolve a fit issue! Otherwise our Customer Support team are here to help with any fit questions - we are shoe experts and have helped thousands of women to find comfy, happy feet.

For your first return, we offer free return labels within Australia. Exchanges are completely free, however if you opt for a refund there will be a $10 handling fee deducted from your refund. Please keep reading for full returns policy and process.

1. Check Returns policy

Before lodging a return via our Returns Portal, please ensure :

  • You purchased from shewear.com.au at full price within 30 days (Australia) or 45 days (international). Sale items are final sale and not eligible for a return (unless faulty).
  • The item/s MUST be in original, unworn and re-saleable condition (unworn, unwashed/cleaned and unaltered). 
  • No tape on shoe boxes - place inside another box or satchel (or re-use she wear recycled satchel).
  • Socks, briefs and crop bras cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons (unless faulty).
  • Free gifts: must be returned or full RRP deducted from refund. Adapt Pack missing? $50 fee applies.
  • Multi-buy discounts: returning part of your order will void the discount and the kept item(s) will be charged at full price.
  • Only 1 return per order is permitted. You may return multiple items from the 1 order, but they must be lodged and returned together.

Items that don’t meet these conditions will be sent back to you at your expense.

Gift card purchases will be refunded back as a gift card.

Exchange: Free return label + free standard shipping back to you .. yep, completely free! We also offer very nifty "instant exchanges" (see below).

Refund: Free return label, $10 handling fee deducted (plus any original shipping fees, eg express fees).

You cover return shipping.

Exchange: We cover shipping back to you for free.

Refund: $10 handling fee deducted (plus any original shipping fees)

ALL OTHER INTERNATIONAL

Refunds only (no exchanges).

WHAT IS AN INSTANT EXCHANGE?

An instant exchange means we'll send you your new replacement shoes before you've returned the first pair!

This option is popular for people who want to try both pairs/sizes on at the same time to directly compare them, and then just return whichever pair is least suitable.

When you lodge your exchange, you'll be given the option of 'standard exchange' or 'instant exchange'. You will need to provide your credit card details where a 'hold' will be placed on your card for the cost of the second pair. This is a hold, not a charge (similar to the hold a hotel will place on a room). This hold is then lifted as soon as we receive your first pair back.

PROCESSING TIMEFRAMES

• Returns processed within 4 business days of arrival at our HQ.
• Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear.
• Instant exchanges are shipped once the return is approved.

RECEIVED A FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEM?

This very very rarely happens .. but we are human and sometimes mistakes occur!   Please don't wear/use the item.

Lodge a return via the portal for a replacement or refund and we'll sort it as a priority.

• If you’re covering return shipping, use a trackable insured service - we’re not responsible for lost/damaged parcels.
• We may refuse future orders if we notice excessive/unreasonable return patterns.
• Items bought from other stockists must be returned directly to them.

2. Lodge online return 

Once you’ve checked our returns policy and you’re good to go, simply lodge your return through our online portal - it’s quick and easy for all countries.

Have your full order number (e.g. S1234) and postcode ready, then follow the prompts.

Australia: You’ll receive an email with your free return shipping label.

Overseas: You’ll receive instructions on how to send your items back.

3. where to return

Once you’ve lodged your return through the Returns Portal and received confirmation, post it back to us in secure packaging (re-use the she wear recycled satchel or use your own but please remember to not damage the shoe box/packaging).

In Australia, track your free return via the label email. International customers should use a tracked, insured courier as returns are your responsibility until received at our HQ.

We process returns within 4 business days of arrival and will email you once complete .. please allow 5 business days before following up.

What makes she wear shoes different?

Unlike standard off-the-shelf styles, our shoes are engineered for comfort and support, using bio mechanical footbeds, structured heel counters, and shock absorbing midsoles - all tailored to the shape and needs of women’s feet.

We don't "downsize" a man's shoe or boot and we have a fit and functionality first approach to our shoes.

Do your shoes help with plantar fasciitis, bunions etc?

Yes! Many customers choose our footwear for relief from plantar fasciitis, bunions, arthritis, achilles pain and general fatigue. Our supportive, considered designs help reduce pressure and improve alignment.

We do always recommend seeking medical advice if you have suffer from any foot pain or injury.

Can I use my own orthotic in your shoes?

Absolutely. All our shoes feature removable footbeds and clever hidden internal depth to accommodate custom orthotics without compromising fit or comfort.

Are your shoes suitable for people on their feet all day?

100%. Whether you work in healthcare, hospitality, retail, trades or just live an on-the-go life, our shock absorbing midsoles and supportive designs are made for long days on hard floors and busy lives.

Our heritage is actually from designing safety boots - so we know a thing or 2 about good fit, functionality and durability!

Do you offer different fits or widths, or half sizes?

Yes! We offer a range of styles with different fit profiles .. some roomier, some more narrower - because one shape doesn’t suit every foot.

We don’t offer half sizes, it’s a common myth that they guarantee a better fit. In reality, fit depends more on shape, depth, width, and adjustability. Sizing is detailed on each product page, our footbeds are removable for personalisation, and we design with real women’s feet in mind.
