For years, women working in high risk industries have been expected to make do with boots designed for men. Smaller sizes, a bit of pink and clever marketing have been passed off as "fit for purpose". Anyone who has spent a long shift in a boot that doesn’t actually match the female foot knows that isn’t good enough.
she wear was born on a worksite 12 years ago after a very literal wake-up call .. a nail-through-the-foot moment that proved just how dangerous poorly fitting footwear can be. Since that day, our mission has been clear: design footwear that actually supports and protects women’s bodies.
Taking female first design to the world stage
After 11+ years of designing, testing and refining purpose-built footwear for women at work, we’re excited to announce that she wear is heading to Düsseldorf, Germany for the A+A 2025 .. one of the world’s largest safety and workwear trade fairs.

Find us: Hall 13 | Stand E43 Messe Düsseldorf, Stockumer Kirchstraße 61, 40474 Düsseldorf, Germany 4-7th November 2025
A+A brings together global leaders in safety, health, and workplace innovation and this year, we're proud to showcase what truly innovative, female specific design looks like.
Why does female specific footwear matter?
Women’s feet are not just smaller versions of men’s. Key anatomical differences change how a boot needs to fit and function.

Ignoring these differences can lead to heel slippage, plantar fasciitis, unstable ankles, arch pain, toe crowding, long-term musculoskeletal injuries. Our bio mechanical support systems are engineered to tackle these challenges .. so women can work hard, move safely, and feel good doing it.
What we are showcasing
This year we'll present our full range of women’s safety and work footwear:
• Certified safety boots for construction, trades and industrial roles• Lightweight work footwear for retail, hospo, health care and warehousing• Tough, durable designs that protect and perform• Wide and inclusive fit options across styles
Every she wear shoe is built with premium grade materials, stabilising heel counters, supportive midsoles and slip resistant outsoles. Our shoes aren’t just for work, they’re designed for women who deserve footwear that works as hard as they do.

A global call to do better
Change is finally shifting across the PPE industry. Standards like the UK’s BS 30417 are recognising the importance of inclusive design. But recognition means nothing without execution. We’re here to show that better design already exists .. and women shouldn’t have to compromise a single step.
Come see us in Düsseldorf
For us, this moment is more than a milestone .. it’s proof that women’s needs are finally being recognised on a global stage. If you’re attending A+A and want to talk comfort, bio mechanics, innovation or distribution opportunities, we would love to chat!
she wear is ready to scale globally and we’re actively seeking aligned partners who care about women’s safety as much as we do. Women deserve PPE made for them.
