Giving Back

Positivity is precious. Our goal is to use our platform and resources to bring about positive action and purposeful change for those who need help and hope. We are continually inspired by, and in utter awe of, our charity partners and their tireless efforts to challenge inequalities, change prejudice, and to comfort those in crisis.

 ~ STACEY, SHE WEAR FOUNDER

To date, we’ve donated over $200,000 back into the community

When it comes to profits for purpose, we don’t mess about. Using our voice and our resources to create real change, through direct donations or charity partnerships, is something we’re super proud of. We love being part of the collective movement for the better.

But it’s not gone unnoticed that the real reason we’re in such an awesome position to help is because of you - our fabulous customers. We’re extremely humbled and forever grateful that your continual support grants us the chance to do some really good things in the world (as well as making uhmmazing shoes!)

Minus18

Our rad rainbow laces launched in 2021 and it was an easy decision to pledge $2 from every sale to the good team at Minus18 - shop the laces here!

An Aussie charity focused on improving the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth, we’re pretty in awe of their dedication to creating a world where youth feel safe and belong. How are they changing lives? We’re glad you asked - Minus18 creates fun-filled spaces for LGBTQIA+ young people to tackle social isolation. Events are organised with youth at the forefront to foster leadership skills, while Minus18 also provides LGBTQIA+ inclusion training and free digital resources for schools and workplaces.

Circonomy

February 2024

We don't like waste, and we don't like to add to landfill!  We try our best for the environment and we had small numbers of remaining inventory of our Junior boots.  We donated the kids boots to Circonomy to ensure they DIDN'T end up in landfill and to allow people access to good quality, discounted children's footwear.

The Circonomy, a Brisbane based social enterprise, ethos is "to create a world where nothing goes to waste, by refurbishing, repairing, repurposing, reselling and recycling dormant goods that are lying dormant or are destined for landfill."

Drought Angels

April 2023

"We are overflowing with gratitude as we extend a heartfelt thank you to our friends at Good360 for helping coordinate this generous donation of 170 pairs of stunning gum boots from she wear. This has touched our hearts and will have a profound impact on our beautiful ladies on the land who don’t often treat themselves to gorgeous items like this.

Your unwavering support is a beacon of hope, and we are deeply moved by your kindness and generosity with the team from she wear.

Together, we are making a real difference in our community and are privileged to have your support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!" ~ Drought Angels

Share the Dignity

In August 2022, we donated $15,000 worth of organic bamboo underwear to the brilliant team at Share The Dignity, who in turn will distribute to women and girls in need.

SEQ and northern NSW floods

Our beautiful home town of Brisbane and surrounding regions of SE Qld and northern NSW were devastated in the 2022 floods.

We wanted to help those whose homes had been inundated with flood water, and to keep those who selflessly volunteered safe. Our team arranged individual care packs to be expressed out to people in need and packaged up gum boots, workwear, PPE and accessories such as socks.  We also donated bulk lots of gumboots for volunteers in the Brisbane Mud Army.

We donated over $40,000 worth of product ~ over 350 pairs of gumboots and sets of PPE, socks, workwear and other items.

We totally agree that “Creating an Australia free from discrimination is a job for everyone, and Minus18 can’t do it alone.” If you’d love to make a direct donation of your own, head across to their website.

RizeUp

In 2020/2021 we joined with RizeUp and released our limited edition, green goddess She Achieves safety boot.

$10 from every boot sold was donated to RizeUp, in support of families affected by domestic violence. With DV perpetrated by males in 95% of reported incidents, we’re passionate about supporting RizeUp to assist and empower women.

If you’re keen to contribute further, RizeUp relies heavily on donations of money, furniture and household items. Please contact them directly for more info on how you can help.

Share The Dignity

We were pumped to put our skills to use crafting up something a little different in 2021. Our 3 styles of limited edition slogan shirts were super-fun to create, and also supported Share the Dignity. This amazing tribe of women distribute thousands of period products to those in need each year, based on an ethos that “access to period products should be a right, NOT a privilege.” We couldn’t agree more.

So, that’s why we chose to convert 10% of all shirt sales into period products, which were then provided to Share the Dignity.

Previous support

Every year we like to do our bit by contributing numerous gifts to events and fundraisers hosted by grassroots groups, like member and support groups. We’ve also officially partnered with a bunch of organisations doing awesome-sauce things in the world. This is just a little snapshot of our efforts:

2020

We co-ordinated care packs for women affected by the Australian bushfires and drought, and donated she wear footwear and other accessories and put the call out to some of our suppliers for their assistance.

Over $13,000 of product was shipped out to women all over Australia.

We are in absolute appreciation of our sponsor donors: Elwood Workwear, Eve Workwear, Bolle Safety and Australian Safety Wholesalers.

2019 - 2018

In lieu of Black Friday discounts, we donated $10 for every pair of shoes sold to Drought Angels to help our Aussie farmers during desperate times.

We donated $16,000 worth of sample, ex-display and minor cosmetically flawed safety boots to Queensland aboriginal communities in need.

$8,000 worth of boots were donated to RSPCA Qld staff and volunteers.

2017 - 2015

$10 from every She Achieves boot sale was donated to one of three charities in 2015-17 - customers chose the charity to donate to at checkout.

The charities we supported were NBCF, RUOK? and RSPCA Australia.

2014

A limited edition boot was released in 2014 to support the NBCF, with $10 donated from every pair sold.

$10 from every She Will boot sale was donated to Buy a Bale.
