We only use quality upper leather, mesh or rubber materials in our footwear. As leather is a natural material, it will mould to the shape of your foot and if there is any pressure on a particular part of your foot (eg. over the metatarsal/top area), this will give over time. The mesh material will also slightly give over time. Rubber (gum boots) will not stretch at all.
If you feel your footwear is too small or your toes are cramped, it is more than likely the footwear is too small. The length of footwear (particularly safety footwear) will never change, so ensure the length is right before you begin to wear your footwear. If you feel tightness over the top of the foot (ie. through the metatarsal area), the upper will give under pressure, so a little firmness is fine. Again, if it feels “tight”, the size is potentially incorrect for you.
Safety footwear : If your toes feel cramped or are rubbing against the side of the safety cap, the style is potentially not right for you – this area never changes in size due to the rigid steel or composite safety cap.
We offer returns and exchanges on all full priced items, so contact us if you are unsure. Please ensure to not wear your footwear (besides trying on on carpet) as we can only accept returns on unworn, re-saleable footwear.
